Rat Rescue Group Seeks Funding
For persons who care about rats: "All funds raised will go towards food, bedding, cages & starting a vet fund for surrendered animals," vows a New Bedford woman whose mission is to rescue the pet rodents. Donate $40 and get a Rat rescue T-shirt.
Rats have a friend in New Bedford: Her name is Karyn White and she's recently posted an appeal on GoFundMe.com, the crowdfunding website where ordinary folks seek donations for all kinds of causes.
White's Rat Rescue Group Fundraiser offers thank-you rewards to donors, including:
- Cage Sponsor: Donate $40 and receive a Rat Rescue Group T-shirt
- Large Cage Sponsor: Donate $50 and receive a one-pound solid chocolate rat
- Rescue Angel: Donate $100 and receive a Rat Rescue Group T-shirt and tote bag
