Christmas Services in Falmouth, 2013

Falmouth churches offer Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services for everyone, including stuffed animals.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Communion Service: Dec. 24, 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. "Please join us for a special evening communion service on Christmas Eve in which we will share the bread and the cup as believers in preparation for remembering Christ's birth and then conclude by singing Silent Night by candle light."

Christmas Morning Worship Service: Dec. 25, 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. "Everyone is welcome to join us in worshipping our newborn savior on Christmas morning.  We will praise Him in one short family friendly worship service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. during which time all the little children are welcome to attend wearing pajamas and bringing a small quiet toy."

Christmas Eve Service: Dec 24, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
"This service is oriented especially toward families with young children who should bring their favorite stuffed animals with them. Music for the service will be provided by the Children's Choir. The service will present a Nativity tableau, a children's rendition of the Nativity story, and carols. Before the singing of "Silent Night," the children in the congregation will be invited to come forward with their stuffed animals and gather around the manger."

Christmas Eve Service: Dec 24, 8 p.m. - 9 p.m. "This service follows a more traditional format than the 5:30 service. It will include the lighting of the Advent Wreath, carols, Scripture readings and choral music."

St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 91 Main Street, Falmouth, (508) 548-3863 

Family Christmas Celebration: Dec. 24, 4 p.m.

Celebration of Nativity: Dec. 24, 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. "The Canterbury Choir sings at two services on Christmas Eve at St Barnabas: 7 p.m. and then a half-hour choral prelude at 10 p.m. which leads directly into the late service at 10:30 pm. Any singers visiting at Christmas who would like to sing with the Canterbury Choir please contact Music Director, Todd Beckham. You can sing at either one or both of the services – talk to Todd; he’ll explain the ins and outs. We would especially like to invite former choir members to join us. Our rehearsal will be on Monday, December 23 at 7 p.m."
