Falmouth Selectmen were forced to choose a ‘half-hearted’ action last night, that satisfies nothing and sacrifices all involved. Increasing turbine operations to 16 hours only slows the “deficit bleed”. It remains costing the town money to the tune of nearly $100K a year. While this might meet the minimum sleep requirement period for most adult residents, the neighborhood’s children, regrettably, get left behind. A lose/lose action plan, in other words - A Compromise. Falmouth voters are likely, more than ever, wishing for “do-overs” in light of the May campaign to heal our town. This issue continues making the town sick.
