They probably feel POORER since their property values have dropped since the installation. A study by the London School of Economics (LSE) – which looked at more than a million sales of properties close to wind farm sites over a 12-year period – found that values of homes within 1.2  miles of large wind farms were being slashed by about 11 per cent. The Friends of Falmouth Wind have failed the public and the second class citizens living around the wind turbines. The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection has now found the wind turbines in Falmouth, Fairhaven and Kingston breaking state noise guidelines. The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center has admitted it placed the Falmouth wind turbines Ad Hoc and now sets 2000 feet as setbacks to commercial wind turbines. The general public is aware new setbacks are needed based on the size and power of these turbines. Folks, Falmouth ,Massachusetts is ground zero for poorly sited commercial wind turbines in the United States. Falmouth is a town which bought commercial wind turbines to reduce CO2 in the air while you can't drink the public water. Priorities gone wrong ? The Australian Victorian Government enforces a minimum two-kilometer distance between wind turbines and residential homes. Two-kilometers is around 12,000 feet. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-06-27/wind-farm-setbacks-policy-to-remain/2772716
