As certain as Falmouth’s turbines symbolize one towns unexpected mistake with wind, Resident, town officials (including Mr. Zweig), need also remember that everyone is owed fair and equal treatment. Falmouth Zoning Chairman reminded the public (Dec 5, 2013 ZBA Funfar nuisance hearing) that the intent of zoning bylaw is to protect the welfare, health and safety of all town residents. The Court has made it clear that attending to the health & property rights protection requirements is not simply a good idea, it’s the law. Any injunctive relief, despite Mr. Zweig’s criticism and “chicken little – the sky is falling” antics, shall not nullify or substantially derogate from the intent and purposes of Health & Property Rights Protections. Arguing differently is the true loss of moral wisdom! (see Patch post Nov. 18 - Is Falmouth really negotiating in good faith?
