Falmouth residents warn the state about wind too close

The paradox of placing wind energy projects in residential neighborhoods was on parade at yesterday’s Department of Public Utilities wind turbine siting public hearing.  Unwittingly, state officials were invited into a hoax.  One that would allegedly replicate the “low-frequency sound” from the turbines, and the panel was warned, may likely cause people in the auditorium to become sick.  The DPU viewed this demonstration as not being appropriate.  The mere threat posed too great a risk upon the panel and attending audience’s welfare.  How Ironic? http://www.capecodonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20140207/NEWS/402070329/-1/NEWS01
