A WORD REGARDING THE PREMATURE PROCLAMATION OF THE NEWS ... Given how strong the wind energy lobby is, the political posture of the President’s wind energy position, and how much money is at stake (i.e the expiration of the Wind Production Tax Credit), the TRUTH told by one New England town would be the easy ‘news story’ to leave on the editing floor. An anonymous piece of wisdom ~ The old saying that “figures will not lie, but liars will figure.”~ In other words, perverting or censoring the truth, in order that another idea will be established or gain notoriety.

The Dow Jones Local Media Group daily newspaper franchises include the Cape Cod Times,The Standard-Times ,New Bedford. These were all recently sold to an affiliate of Fortress Investment Group LLC. Fortress is also the majority owner of GateHouse Media. One or two people control what you read.

Commercial wind turbine studies presented to local towns for the installation of commercial wind have one thing in common. The study for your particular installation only includes positive information any negative information is simply left out of the reports. For example a pre installation for a Mattapoisett wind turbine installation made reference to two different types of noise from wind turbines. One was regulatory and the other human annoyance. The turbine was not built in Mattapoisett. The Falmouth wind study was next and never mentioned two types of noise and the turbine was built. The newspapers are only feeding the public the positive information in the same fashion. A local newspaper on Cape Cod still is writing editorial stories about operating the Falmouth wind turbines 24/7 and never mentions the 200 residential homes and the health hazards. The newspapers are laying off people and going out of business. They wonder why ?

Its very encouraging to spend hours being interviewed and nervous and hopeful and hopeless and putting it out there on the line... Just to be trumped by reports on bottled water vs. tap water then elvis impersonators. there was hope for a minute but now I know why most people are turning to Fox news. But the ABC people have us in a computer somewhere and hopefully one day will be such a slow news day they can find it again. They might be trying to keep it all light for Christmastime... who knows. I hate the world anyway anymore... I'm all done but out own lawsuit now. LOUSY ass world!
