Join Puppetry Workshop and Production of Folk Nativity Play

With acting games and exercises, Falmouth's own Master Puppeteer, Jacek Zuzanski with the assistance of Jeremy Tagliaferre from JWUMC, will guide participants in developing talents and skills.  We will progress from reading the script, to memorizing lines, and on to performance. Learn vocal expression and articulation along with the secrets of puppet manipulation. Perform a traditional folk nativity play with rod puppets, a style reminiscent of a variety show, moving through scenes that are sometimes more concerned with tickling the funny bone than advancing a plot. The play features a lively array of characters including Peasants, Three Kings, King Herod, an Angel, a Devil, Death, and the Holy Family.

Location: Fellowship Hall at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 270 Gifford St, Falmouth, MA

Cost: There is no cost! The Workshop is entirely sponsored by John Wesley United Methodist Church
