Massachusetts Green Energy Corruption Sal DiMasi Needs Your Help

Massachusetts Green Energy Corruption   Sal DiMasi Needs Your Help   In March 2007, Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley obtained a consent judgment against a former Massachusetts state representative from Freetown resolving allegations that he violated the Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act by misleading consumers. The claim was for failing to install turbines paid for by consumers and providing unsafe wind turbine installations.    The former state representative paid a half million dollar payment in restitution and moved to Hawaii. Not to bad ? Now look what happened to ex Speaker of the House Sal DiMasi.   In July of 2008 Massachusetts House Speaker Salvatore DiMasi was the architect of Green Communities Act. The Green Communities Act of 2008 created an energy facilities siting advisory commission. Since 2008 Massachusetts has witnessed the catastrophic failures of siting wind turbines too close to residential homes. The placement of the turbines has caused noise problems described as torturous by wind turbine victims     By July of 2009 it became known that in November of 2007 an 11 page amendment had been "slipped" into legislation that allowed a wind turbine contractor to build wind turbines on Buzzards Bay. Questions remain today if the Ex House Speaker met privately wind turbine contractors. The wind turbines were never built on Buzzards Bay.    In 2011 Sal DiMasi was convicted and sent to a federal prison for eight years for steering contracts to a software firm in exchange for $65,000.   In January of 2014 the US Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal by Sal DiMasi. He has throat and tongue cancer and four more years to serve.     On March 24, 2014 Massachusetts is scheduled to have the largest corruption trial in the history of the state. It may be postponed until April .The Massachusetts probation department is at the center of mail fraud, bribery and racketeering indictments. Convicted Ex Speaker of the House Sal DiMasi is expected to testify at the trial.   Massachusetts has failed  judicial & legislative oversight of renewable energy projects, agencies and co-operatives. Massachusetts state and local agencies have failed to protect the safety and health of citizens. The citizens of Massachusetts have to ask : Do we have to take advertisements out in the newspapers to get the federal government to look at the renewable energy programs in Massachusetts. Who is looking out for our safety and health ?   How can one state representative be fined a half million dollars and move to Hawaii while another representative Sal DiMasi spends 8 years in a federal prison dying of throat and tongue cancer ?   The federal government needs to look into the renewable energy programs in Massachusetts.   To report corruption call : Carmen M. Ortiz the United States Attorney for the District of Massachusetts, John Joseph Moakley Building, United States Federal Courthouse, 1 Courthouse Way, Suite 9200, Boston,Ma, 02210  Tel 617 748 3100
