Wind Turbine Costs Double

There is a sucker born every minute

Wind Turbines produce power but how much power does it take to operate a commercial megawatt turbine. If you knew you would never buy one. Falmouth ,Massachusetts bought a couple and they are paying the price in health complaints and an ongoing financial fiasco.   The Town of Falmouth has never made public or accounted for one factor that can be important, particularly for megawatt-scale turbines: the amount of electrical power the turbine itself consumes. Tell the public the truth how is it costing ?   A commercial wind turbine such as the Falmouth, Massachusetts wind turbine uses about 20 percent of its own power to operate every day. The turbine itself is a 70 ton power plant with batteries, computers, rechargeable batteries, transformers, capacitors, heating and cooling systems, hydraulic brakes and warning lights.   The Falmouth wind turbine is shut down 12 hours a day under a Massachusetts Superior Court ruling that the turbines are creating great harm to residential abutters and people can't sleep.   The average wind turbine loses about twenty percent of its power every day just to keep the wind turbine operating. The Falmouth wind turbines are shut down 12 hours a day and it would be conservative to say the Town of Falmouth has to supply up to 50 percent of the turbines power from the local grid just like your home or business.   The Town of Falmouth or the Falmouth Energy Committee would not say much about the increase in turbine power consumption. It would not be much of an exaggeration to say the Falmouth politicians treats such information as a Massachusetts state secret. Follow the money .....you will learn the truth.

There is nothing sane, or sensible about the faux-green energy scam. It is being covered up, because of the money invested. When this scam finally unravels, as they always do, there will be heads rolling, and bank accounts emptying out. I await the moment of truth, anxiously! LOL! What we could really use, is an antidote for that darned green kool-aid!

We knew they used power to generate power, but we had no idea it was 20%. So if an Industrial Wind Facility only pumps out say 21% capacity factor, in reality after adjusting for power usage, their net capacity factor is only 16.8%...What a scam, you are right Shellie, can't wait for this to unravel!!!!!

Turbines use minimum of 20 % of their own power. This is another dirty little secret about commercial wind turbines that is never told to the public. The Town of Falmouth is well aware of the increasing electric bill. Another item is the maintenance program after the warranty. The Falmouth turbines are gear driven in which a one million dollar insurance policy could cost up to $250,000.00 a year with a $600,000.00 deductible. I don't know what the policy costs or the plan for Falmouth but neither does the public know the costs. The plans for Falmouth would be much higher as they are gear driven older turbines
