Wind Turbine Fiasco Truth

A few select individuals continues to advocate for the irresponsible siting of commercial wind turbines.     NIMBY used to mean Not In My Back Yard . The wind advocates motto is "Next It May Be You."   The Falmouth turbines are not safe. The Massachusetts Superior Court has ruled the turbines a nuisance and pose health hazards.   The turbines no longer make money they are costing taxpayers.   The turbines are no longer locally owned. Massachusetts officials now mandate through a stimulus fund loan/grant the turbines must continue to run.   The Town of Falmouth’s two wind turbines are ground zero for poorly placed turbines in USA.   A recent letter  from MA Department of Environmental Protection confirms wind turbines are to loud by state law May 12-15, 2012      The Falmouth wind project is a catastrophic health and financial fiasco.   The Town of Falmouth is continuing to file litigation against itself driving the cost of taxes even higher.   The Falmouth wind turbines are coming out of their warranty period. The out-of-warranty turbines around the 1.5 Megawatt range and up need, gearbox repairs, transmission upgrades and blade repairs every three to five years.   Folks ; The Falmouth wind project was a mistake plain and simple.
