3 Arrested in E. Falmouth Drug Bust

Thursday morning, Falmouth police arrested three people and seized marijuana, prescription pills, handguns, a pickup truck and and more than $3,500 in cash during a search of a home in East Falmouth, according to a press release from Capt. Douglas DeCosta of the Falmouth Police Department:

Early Thursday morning (October 17, 2013) members of the Falmouth Police Department Drug Task Force, with the assistance from the Falmouth Police Special Response Team, Upper Cape Regional Special Response Team, the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit, and the Cape Cod Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 1297 Sandwich Road, East Falmouth.  

During a search of the home, detectives seized over 5 oz of marijuana with a street value of $2,500, a semi-automatic 9 mm caliber Smith & Wesson handgun, a .357 caliber Smith & Wesson revolver (handgun),  a 2007 Toyota Tacoma pickup (used during drug transactions), and over $3500 in cash. 

In addition, the following subjects were arrested: 

Eric Lawrance (age 29) of East Falmouth for Illegal Possession of a Firearm, Illegal Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Illegal Possession of Ammunition, Illegal Drug Possession with Intent to Distribute (Subsequent Offense)—Class B (Percocet), Illegal Drug Possession with Intent to Distribute (Subsequent Offense)—Class D (Marijuana), Illegal Drug Possession with Intent to Distribute (Subsequent Offense)—Class E (prescription pills), and Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws; 

Kelly M. Schuck (age 22) of East Falmouth for Illegal Drug Possession with Intent to Distribute—Class D (Marijuana), Illegal Drug Possession with Intent to Distribute—Class E (prescription pills) and Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws; and, 

Rosita B. Lawrance (age 57) of East Falmouth for Illegal Drug Possession with Intent to Distribute—Class E (prescription pills) and Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws.

The execution of the search warrant was the result of an investigation conducted by the Falmouth Police Drug Task Force with assistance from the Mashpee Police Detectives Division and the Massachusetts State Police Detectives Unit assigned to the Barnstable County District Attorney’s Office (Cape Cod Drug Task Force).
