3 Falmouth Anti-Nuke Protesters to Stand Trial

Accused of trespassing at Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station in Plymouth, more than a dozen Cape Cod residents will get their day in court March 18, 2014, Cape Cod Online reports.

Thirteen members of the Cape Downwinders anti-nuclear activist group, including three from Falmouth, have been ordered to stand trial in Plymouth District Court next March on charges of trespassing at Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station last May, reports Cape Cod Online. The three Falmouth residents are Janet Azarovitz, Joyce Johnson and William Maurer, who will be tried with protesters from Brewster, East Dennis, Harwich, Orleans, Truro and Wellfleet, according to Cape Cod Online, which reports that the Cape Downwinders say they want their day in court because they believe the nuclear power plant is criminally dangerous.
