4 Teens Arrested, Weapons and Loot Seized After E. Falmouth Home Invasion, Police Say

A fifth teen is sought by police who arrested four after an early-morning home invasion by armed, masked men was reported at an East Falmouth home, according to the Falmouth Police Department. Arrest information does not indicate convictions.

The Falmouth Police Department issued the following announcement Saturday night:

On August 31, 2013 at about 6:15 a.m. the Falmouth Police Department received a report of a home invasion at a residence on Sandcastle Drive (East Falmouth). 

The occupants reported that three masked males, one armed with a rifle and another armed with a stun gun entered their home. The subjects then stole several items and fled in a vehicle. No injuries were sustained by the victims.

As a result of an investigation, a search warrant was executed on an Old Barnstable Road residence (East Falmouth) and all the stolen property (televisions, jewelry, DVD player, phone, and liquor), except for the cash were recovered. Also recovered were a .22 caliber rifle and a stun gun—both of which are believed to have been used during the home invasion.  

In addition, four subjects have been arrested in relation to the home invasion: A juvenile, age 16 of North Falmouth, Michael Fernandes, age 18 of East Falmouth, and Elijah Smith age 18 of East Falmouth have been arrested and charged with Home Invasion. Kayla Pina, age 18 of East Falmouth was arrested and charged with Obstruction of Justice. A fifth suspect, Nicholas Licciardi, age 17 of East Falmouth is also being sought on an arrest warrant for Home Invasion.

The investigation is ongoing and further criminal charges are expected.
