Coast Guard Helicopter Rescues Fishing Crew Member
Scrambling from Air Station Cape Cod, a Coast Guard Jayhawk plucked the ailing seaman from the deck of a vessel 35 nautical miles south of the Vineyard, the Martha's Vineyard Times reports.
A 25-year-old man suffering epileptic seizures was rescued from aboard the fishing vessel Argo by a Coast Guard helicopter Friday morning, the Martha's Vineyard Times reports.
The MH-60 Jawhawk helicopter was scrambled from Air Station Cape Cod to the boat's location about 35 nautical miles south of the island and took the stricken crew member to Rhode Island Hospital, the newspaper reports.
