Couple Arrested in Falmouth Stabbing

A Falmouth woman is recovering in a Boston hospital after police say a man allegedly held her down while his girlfriend stabbed her.

Falmouth police were called to the Gosnold Grove Apartments just after 6:30 p.m. Thursday night for a reported stabbing. Witnesses told police that 28-year-old Jeremy Murray of Bourne allegedly held down the victim while his girlfriend 26-year-old Ashley Gieselman stabbed her roommate. Police are unsure at this time what provoked the attack.

Bourne police officers later arrested Murray and Gieselman in a Bourne motel. The two were taken to the Falmouth Police Department. They face charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and armed assault to murder.

There is no word yet on the victim’s condition.
