A 23-year-old Falmouth man faces charges of assault and battery on a pregnant woman and assault and battery with an active vacate or restraining order, according to the Falmouth Police Department's latest log.
Marcus Jeffers was arrested shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday, when police responded to a reported domestic disturbance at his Jones Road home.
The police log also records the arrest of a 21-year-old woman following a reported domestic disturbance at her on Old Main Road residence Tuesday afternoon.

Veronica L. Stewart faces one charge of simple assault.
At about 10:25 p.m. Tuesday, according to the log, Falmouth police serving a warrant took Alexander Reis Moura, 39, into custody at his Beebe Acres Road home.
