Falmouth Police Dog Sniffs Out Suspect after Armed Robbery at Liquor Store
Jonathan Nunez, 24, is suspected of holding three women at knifepoint while ransacking cash registers and safes at Kenyon's Market Wednesday night, police said.
Falmouth police investigating a robbery at knifepoint late Wednesday night at an East Falmouth package store used a canine officer to track the suspect, according to a press release from the Falmouth Police Department issued Thursday, Nov. 21 (in bold type below):
At approximately 10:50 pm the FPD received a 911 call from Kenyon’s Market in East Falmouth reporting an armed robbery.
A man entered the store with a hooded sweatshirt and a mask on his face brandishing a large kitchen knife. Three females were locked in the store with him while he emptied two cash registers and two safes.

He fled the store on foot, at which time a store employee was able to call 911. Police arrived and conducted a track with the assistance of a BCSD K-9 officer.
At approximately 12:40 am this morning, Jonathan Nunez (24, E. Falmouth) was arrested at a residence on Sao Paulo Drive in East Falmouth.

According to the arrest report, Nunez faces charges of armed and masked robbery and possession of a Class A drug.
Arrest information from the Falmouth Police Department does not indicate a conviction.
