Five Injured in Falmouth Crash

A single-vehicle collision Saturday night sent five people to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, Falmouth police said Sunday.

Five people received non-life threatening injuries in an accident in Falmouth Saturday night.

The accident reportedly occurred on Route 151 near Cloverfield Way, involving only one vehicle, reported Falmouth Police. It was reported around 11:43 p.m. Saturday night. 

The department noted that after going off the road and striking a guardrail and utility pole the vehicle came to rest on its roof down an embankment. The five occupants of the vehicle all were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Traffic on Route 151 was briefly disrupted as debris was removed from the road. There were also some limited nearby power outages reported. Utility repairs were expected to have finished by afternoon.

The incident remains under investigation, according to police.
