Gunshots in the Night, DUI Arrests in Falmouth

A 30-year-old East Falmouth woman was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and drugs following a collision on Menauhunt Road shortly before 7 p.m. Friday, according to log entries released by the Falmouth Police Department.
At about 8:30 p.m. Friday, a report of gunshots on Two Ponds Road was "handled by officer," according to the log.
Another report of gunshots around 9:30 p.m. at Sippewissett Road and Burnham Drive was noted "unable to locate," as was a report of fireworks about 15 minutes earlier at North Chop Lane.
A Westwood man was arrested Sunday afternoon on suspicion of disorderly conduct, 12 counts of malicious destruction of property worth $250 or more and one count of wanton destruction of property worth $250 or more.
A crash shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday on Sandwich Road resulted in the OUI arrest of a 63-year-old Lynn man.
