He Beat Disabled Senior, Falmouth Police Say

Recent arrests by the Falmouth Police Department, including protective custody. Arrest information does not indicate convictions.

A 60-year-old West Falmouth man was placed into protective custody for two days in a row over the weekend and, in both incidents, faces charges of assault and battery causing injury to a disabled person older than 60, according to Falmouth police.

Wayne Allen Richard was taken into custody at 10:23 p.m. Saturday on Beach Road following a report of a domestic disturbance, and again at 5:20 p.m. Sunday on Ter Heun Drive as the result of a follow-up investigation. 


Other recent arrests reported by Falmouth police:

At 9:15 PM Sunday on Route 28 North, Kenneth Arthur Tavares, 49, of East Falmouth was arrested on suspicion of simple assault and battery.

A motor vehicle crash on Teaticket Highway at 11:44 AM Monday led to the warrant arrest of Carrie Lynn Speed, 27, of Falmouth.

Monday at 10:20 p.m., a report of a domestic disturbance on Sandwich Road resulted in protective custody for Shane A. Sacchetti, 26, of Falmouth.

A report of an intoxicated person on Ter Heun Drive Monday at 11:18 p.m. landed Ryan Edward Horton, 25, of Falmouth in protective custody.
