Man Arrested with $700 in Coins, Falmouth Police Say
Ronald J. Renaud of East Falmouth faces charges of receiving stolen property valued at more than $250, attempting to commit a crime, disturbing the peace and possessing a burglarious instrument. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.
A 35-year-old East Falmouth man was arrested Sunday evening by police responding to a report of a suspicious person on Tanglewood Drive shortly after 8 p.m., according to the Falmouth Police Department.
Ronald J. Renaud faces charges of receiving stolen property valued at more than $250, attempting to commit a crime, disturbing the peace and possessing a burglarious instrument.
"Mr. Renaud was found in a vehicle with approximately $700 in rolled coins that were reportedly stolen. The burglarious instrument in this case was latex gloves," said Lieut. Brian Reid an an email response to Patch's questions about the arrest.
"This is an active investigation at this time," Reid said.
Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.
