Wendell Rowe, an 82-year-old who went missing in Carver on Tuesday night, was found safe in Falmouth Wednesday morning, according to Falmouth police.
Falmouth Police Officer Jamie Livingston was on an unrelated investigation in Yarmouth Wednesday morning when Rowe's family approached her. They said they were looking for Fiddlers Cove, as they had reason to think Rowe was there, according to the press release.
Livingston told the family Fiddlers Cove was in Falmouth, not Yarmouth, and sent over a dispatch to Falmouth police.
Police found Rowe safe and in good condition at the marina and later reunited with his family.
