Police Seize $10K Worth of Heroin in Wareham, Arrest Two

Police allegedly seized $10,000 thousand dollars worth of heroin and nearly $3,000 cash and arrested two subjects at a home in West Wareham this week.

 

Falmouth police executed a search warrant at 1146 Main St. in West Wareham early Tuesday morning following a lengthy investigation, according to a press release.

During the raid police allege they found 75 grams of heroin with a street value of $10,000, a .45 caliber handgun and $2,900 in cash.

Police arrested Christopher Conway, 23 of West Wareham and Samantha Howe, 21 of Mashpee. Both were charged with trafficking heroin, unlawful possession of a firearm and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Conway was also charged as an armed career criminal.

Police Chief Edward Dunne praised the work of officers involved in the investigation.

“Severing major illegal drug ties to Falmouth is crucial to keeping our community safe,” Dunne said in a statement.

The Barnstable Police Department Drug Unit and the Cape Cod Drug Task Force assisted with the investigation.
