Suspects Arrested in Home Invasion

The suspects assaulted the occupants of the home and stole illegal drugs and cash.

Two East Falmouth men have been arrested for a violent home invasion on Pinecrest Beach Drive early Tuesday morning, allegedly stealing illegal drugs and cash and assaulting a victim with a blunt object.

Christopher LaFrange, 21, and Tyler Howe, 20, both of 4 Lewis Street, were arrested as a result of an ongoing investigation and are currently being held on $25,000 bail. The Falmouth Police expect more arrests in relation to the incident.

According to a Falmouth Police press release, in the early morning hours of June 21, several subjects entered a home on Pinecrest Beach Drive in East Falmouth. The suspects assaulted all four of the occupants, stole illegal drugs and cash, and then fled the area.

One of the victims sustained several lacerations to his head and face after being struct with a blunt object. He was later transported to a Boston-area hospital.

After an investigation revealed that one of the suspects lived on Lewis Street, police executed a search warrant for the home. The suspects, LaFrange and Howe, subsequently staged a fight in an effort to distract the officers and allow an unidentified third party to remove items from the house.

In the suspects' home, police found a stolen Glock .45 caliber handgun, marijuana and $4,000 cash. A mask and bloody clothing were also recovered from LaFrange's vehicle.

A search warrant was also executed at the home of the victims on Pinecrest Beach Drive. There, police found 13 Percocet pills, 6 Ecstasy pills, packaging supplies, digital scales, ammunition, double-edged knives and $350 cash.

Falmouth Police were not immediately available for comment about whether any of the victims were arrested for the drugs or weapons found in that home.

these morons r exactly whats wrong w cape cod. take a little more time trying to help put this shit hole back together instead of making it a haven for drugs and violence. maybe we should b trying to figure out a way to keep these potentially good kids from screwing up and putting to use their energy into more sublime results. lost causes or architects of the future?
