2 Injured in Crash on Sandwich Road, Falmouth Police Investigating

One of the two victims was later taken to a Boston-area hospital, Falmouth police said.

Falmouth police are investigating a collision Friday night on Sandwich Road that sent both drivers to the hospital, one with serious injuries that required the patient to be taken to a Boston hospital, according to an announcement from the Falmouth Police Department:
 
On September 27, 2013 at 19:10pm, the Falmouth Police responded to a motor vehicle accident at #101 Sandwich Rd. When officers arrived, Falmouth Fire and Rescue were already on scene treating occupants of two vehicles involved.  

One vehicle, a white van, struck a utility pole and a second vehicle, a red SUV, was lying on the driver’s side. The operators of both vehicles were transported to Falmouth Hospital. The operator of the red SUV is believed to have sustained serious injuries and was later transported to a Boston area hospital. 

The accident is under investigation by the Falmouth Police Department.
