The new trash and recycling schedule from the town of Falmouth pushes some collection dates to next week.

From the Town of Falmouth website, posted Wednesday morning, Jan. 22:

"TRASH COLLECTION
Once again, we are faced with a storm in a holiday week.  Allied (Republic) has assessed conditions and will not conduct trash collection today,
Wednesday January 22, 2014.

Thursday = Tuesday’s route picked up.
Friday = Thursday’s route picked up (this is their normal collection day in a holiday week).
Saturday = Friday’s route picked up (this is their normal collection day in a holiday week).
Wednesday’s route will not be collected this week and will be deferred to their next regular day which is next Wednesday, 1/29/14.

RECYCLING
Recycling for all routes will be completed by Saturday. No recycling routes will be missed.

Waste Management Facility (WMF)
Residents of Wednesday’s route can take their trash to the WMF at no charge and without the need of  a Trash sticker/permit on Friday and Saturday."
