Falmouth Wind Turbine Neighbors Must Wait for Health Board Discussion

The postponement came on the same day the national "Good Morning America" television show aired a brief segment about Falmouth residents who say they suffer from ill health effects caused by the turbines.

Last night's scheduled discussion of the town's wind turbines by the Falmouth Board of Health has been pushed off two weeks after a board member was unexpectedly unable to attend the meeting, reports the Cape Cod Times

At least one Patch user thinks the GMA report is behind the board of health's decision to move their turbine discussion to Nov. 4: "Good Morning America Show Stalls Wind Turbine Meeting," posted Frank Haggerty on the Falmouth Patch Facebook page.

Paul Shaw expressed his disapproval in a comment on Falmouth Patch: "It appears that the wind turbine abutters are being asked to jump through a series of hoops and a bar keeps being raised to the point where it's not possible to achieve," he posted.

The rescheduled Board of Health discussion of Falmouth's wind turbines is now set for 7 p.m. Nov. 4, according to the Times report.
