Our Sold! feature looks at recent real estate sales in Falmouth.

A Shore Street home with a long history has another new set of owners, as one of the condos in the Thomas Swift House recently sold.

The Federal Colonial style home at 207 Shore Street has been part of the fabric of Falmouth since the early 19th century. Real estate records say it was built in 1803 but the Massachusetts Cultural Resources System puts the date at 1820.

The property was built by for Thomas Swift, who along with his brother Elijah once owned much of the land along Shore Street and the town's wharf on Surf Drive, according to the historical record. Later owners included James Beebe, Wilfred A. Creighton and James and Margaret Smith.

Today the property is divided in four condos. One of them, a two-bedroom, two-bath unit, sold last Wednesday for $330,000, according to NewEnglandMoves.com.
