Chair Yoga for Seniors

Yoga is a gentle, relaxing and meditative practice which is centuries old. It has many benefits such as stress reduction, lowered blood pressure and clear thinking, leaving one with a feeling of overall well-being. Elizabeth Davies, MA, CNA, has been practicing Yoga over 40 years. She developed her idea of Chair Yoga during her years pursuing a Masters Degree in Holistic Counseling at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I.

Elizabeth will be conducting a class in Chair Yoga at the Gus Canty Rec. Center on Wednesdays from 11:00 to 12 noon. If interested, please call the Senior Center to register at 508-540-0196.
