Turbine Neighbors Speak Out
In response to a question from Mr. David Kent on August 2, 2013 about my blog of that date on this website -- “Falmouth said no, and means no” -- on whether I was listening to the neighbors who claim to be adversely affected by the Town’s municipal turbines, yes I have. Actually I have spoken to even more neighbors who have not complained about the turbines. I believe the interview on YouTube with Ms. Debra Cookson and Mr. Christopher Allen who live with their children at 123 Ambleside Drive, West Falmouth – about 1220 feet away from Wind 2 -- is more typical of most neighbors’ experience. They are proud the Town of Falmouth installed the turbines. Please go to the attached link to view the conversation --

Of note is that Ms. Cookson and Mr. Allen live closer to the turbines than all 13 other Falmouth residents (from 8 of the of 168 private properties within ½ mile of the turbines) who are suing the Town in two law suits, of which filings have been made available to the public. The suits are to extract $1.6 million from the Town for alleged personal injury damages and loss of property value due to turbine operation. Other similar law suits might also have been filed.
