"Run Jack Run" Run/Walk to Honor Jack Pearsall

All proceeds will go to the Jack Pearsall Memorial Fund, which provides Falmouth youth with healthy, safe activities and opportunities while aiming to prevent drunk driving and other risky behaviors.

The First Annual "Run Jack Run" Family Fun Run/Walk will take place on July 4. The race, which is being held in memory of , will begin at 9am (registration begins at 7:30am) from the ’s boys soccer field on Brick Kiln Road.

The 1.2 mile route is down Gifford Street with the finish line at Trotting Park Fields. Here, pick-up soccer games for all ages will take place. This is not a timed or scored event, and entirely for enjoyment and to remember a son, brother, and friend, Jack, on the one year anniversary of his death. He was struck and killed by a drunk driver as he left the Mashpee fireworks display.

All proceeds will go to the Jack Pearsall Memorial Fund, which donates scholarships and supports initiatives that provide Falmouth youth with healthy, safe activities and opportunities while aiming to prevent drunk driving and other risky behaviors. Collection boxes for non-perishable food items will be at the start of the race for the Falmouth Service Center’s food pantry. The RJR Committee encourages all participants to bring at least one item on race day to help our friends and neighbors in need.
