Free Movies, Early Release, Hot Stove

Five things to look forward to in Falmouth this week.

1. Monday, see an award-winning 2013 film at The Woods Hole Public Library at 7 p.m. Free. 

2. Tuesday is an early release day for Falmouth public school kids up through sixth grade. The Falmouth Art Center has Children's Art Workshops from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for ages 5-8 and 9-12: $20.

3. Stampers (you know who you are) are invited to a Rubber Stamp Class at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Waquoit Community Church. $20, or free with a minimum $35 order from Stampin' Up! Pre-registration required at http://stampwithnaomi.blogspot.com/p/blog-page_30.html. Also offered Wednesday at 10 a.m.

4. Thursday, The Falmouth Commodores proudly present Boston Red Sox Manager, John Farrell, and Hall of Fame Baseball Columnist Peter Gammons at the second Annual  Hot Stove Event at the Sea Crest - Thursday, January 16 at 6:30pm. Tickets, available at www.falmouthcommodores.com, are $100 each or $800 for a table of 10 (tables require advance purchase).

5. Friday at 6:45 p.m., the Falmouth Jewish Congregation, Blance & Joel D. Seifer Community Center, 7 Hatchville Road, presents a Film Screening & Potluck Dinner featuring  "Soundtrack for a Revolution." Free, bring a dish to share that does not include pork or shellfish.
