It's beginning to look a lot like the week before Thanksgiving in Falmouth. Here are five things to know about this Monday, Nov. 18, 2013.
- On Monday, Laughter Yoga at Gus Canty Community Center, 9:15 a.m., will help release joy and stimulate your immune system. Free.
- Thursday, Mahoney’s “Ladies Night Out” brings together artisans and retailers for an evening of shopping and refreshments. 3 to 8 p.m., 958 East Falmouth Highway, East Falmouth:www.mahoneysgarden.com, 508-548-4842. Free.
- The John Wesley Church Holiday Fair takes place Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 270 Gifford St. Free admission, food available.
- The Annual Poinsettia and Holiday Greenery Sale is on with members of the Falmouth High School Band selling poinsettias and holiday greenery for as little as $10 through December 2 with delivery by December 7th, just in time for the Christmas Parade. - The Falmouth Hospital Thrift Shop on the corner of Palmer Avenue and Ter Heun Drive needs volunteers to do a variety of retail-related tasks, such as ringing in sales, stocking shelves, sorting and pricing donations, and shop upkeep.
