Monday Essentials: Free Movies, Beach Days & More

Here are five things to know for the upcoming week in Barnstable:

1. The developer who bought the historic Nimrod house has offered to save part of it. Read more to learn about the fate of the building.

Today is the third day of the Barnstable County FairThe fair continues all week on the Barnstable County Fairgrounds in East Falmouth and will feature roller coasters, petting zoos, birds of prey, local vendors, fair food and more. Admission is $10 for adults, $2 for children ages 6 to 12 and kids 5 and under are free. All-you-can-ride wristbands are for sale for $22 each before 7 p.m. on Sunday.

3. Today's Weather Watchhigh 70s and partly cloudy. The rest of the week is looking a little stormy, so this might be your best bet for a beach day.
