Coffee House Entertainment Returns to Waquoit Church

The monthly afternoon of "music, nourishment and fellowship" takes place Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Waquoit Congregational Church.

Here's an intriguing announcement we found in the Falmouth Patch events calendar, posted by Paul Rifkin (paulrifkin@comcast.net) of Waquoit Congregational Church, located at the corner of Parsons Lane and Route 28 in Waquoit:

Weary of stress, governmental dysfunction and cell phone fixation? Well then, join us for upcoming afternoons of music, nourishment and fellowship at the Waquoit Congregational Church (East Falmouth).

On Jan. 5 from 4 to 6 p.m., music will be provided by the Flip Side.

Carol Watts has generously volunteered to be the chef for the event. Carol will be preparing scrumptious meals which will include a hot offering (soup or chili- for both vegetarians and carnivores), a variety of sandwiches, Carol's exquisite pastries (she bakes the finest cookies I have ever tasted) and coffee and other beverages.

ALL ARE WELCOME!! BRING THE YOUNG ONES!

Admission to the event is free. The food and beverages are to be purchased.
Donations to the church will be received with gratitude.

Please contact me if you desire further information, want to suggest other entertainers for the show or want to get involved in any way. We look
forward to getting together for great music and food and the warmth
of our community coming together.
