Renaissance Solstice, Live Nativity, Holiday Humor

For your weekend agenda: Five fun things to do and know in Falmouth this Dec. 21 and 22, 2013.

1. Celebrate the Solstice Renaissance Style in Woods Hole with the Solstice Singers, Morris dancing, early music instrumental group Passacaglia, a mummer's play and more: Saturday and Sunday, 4 p.m. at the Woods Hole Community Hall. $18 at the door, $15 in advance ($15/$12, seniors and students), children 
under 12 admitted free. For more information, visit www.solsticesingers.org.

2. See the Live Nativity at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 270 Gifford St., Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

3. For fans of Prairie Home Companion-style live spoken word, humor and music: Around the Fireplace: A Stay at Home Holiday at Highfield Hall takes place Sunday at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. $35/$30 members.
