Single-Engine Plane Crashes Near Falmouth Airpark

The pilot was reportedly not injured in the crash.

At about 11:15am this morning, the Falmouth Fire Department received a call reporting a plane crash in East Falmouth. Responding officers located the pilot and the small single-engine craft in a wooded area near Timothy Bourne Cartway. The plane was approaching a landing strip at the nearby Falmouth Airpark. The pilot, who has not been identified, suffered minor injuries, and there were no other passengers in the plane. The cause of the crash remains under investigtion.
