UPDATE: Pedestrians Struck by Car in Falmouth, One Critically Injured
A car struck two pedestrians Sunday afternoon on Teaticket Highway sending both victims and the driver to the hospital
The car struck Robert Estrela, 21, and Cailey Copeland, 22, both of Falmouth, while they were walking along Teaticket Highway at around 4:20 p.m., according to the Cape Cod Times. Katherine Stone, 26, of Falmouth allegedly drove the 2005 Honda Accord that struck the pair. Estrela was taken to Falmouth hospital and then transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center by a MedFlight in critical condition. Copeland denied medical care at the scene but went to Falmouth hospital later. Stone was transported to Falmouth Hospital. The accident is under investigation.
