Falmouth Man Dies in Truck Accident
An East Falmouth man died Wednesday night after his truck hit a tree on Sandwich Road.
57-year-old Raleigh Costa was driving a Chevy pick-up truck Wednesday night when he crashed the vehicle into a tree on Sandwich Rd., according to the Falmouth Police Department. The accident occurred at about 11:18 p.m.; Costa was taken to Falmouth Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Costa worked as a custodian for Falmouth Public Schools for 27 years. According to a press release, there are no indications that speed or alcohol contributed to the accident. The cause remains under investigation.
