Early this morning a car flipped over on Central Ave.; the driver was taken to Falmouth Hospital.
Falmouth police responded to a report of an accident at the intersection of Central Ave. and Menauhant Rd. in East Falmotuh at 1:16 a.m., according to a press release. The initial investigation indicates that the 2003 Audi A4 was travelling at a high rate of speed on Central Avenue and was unable to negotiate a right turn at the end of the road. The vehicle veered off the road and flipped over. The driver, Mathew Garland, 21 of East Dover VT, was alone in the car and was able to climb out and walk to rescuers. Garland was taken to Falmouth Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. According to the press release, there was no indication that alcohol contributed to the crash.

The District Attorney’s Office released the names of both victims in this morning’s double homicide in East Falmouth.
Police were called to 146 Central Ave. in Falmouth at 1:34 a.m. by a neighbor reporting a disturbance, according to a press release from District Attorney Michael O’Keefe and Falmouth Police Chief Edward Dunne. When police arrived they found Crystal Perry, 43, and Kristofer M. Williams, 24, deceased in the Central Ave. home. Both Perry and Williams lived at the home. The initial investigation suggests both were fatally injured by a severe blunt and sharp force trauma. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct autopsies to determine the exact cause of death. Falmouth Police, State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and State Police Crime Scene Services are investigating the homicide. Officials said …
