dear blowin smoke the denial complex by these folks will most likely not be shattered until we hit bottom. the turbines are virtually noise free. i have been under them and out in front of them. i can't say that for some of the small ones i see around town but the big ones out at the septic treatment plant move pretty slow.. I was listening to NPR a couple weeks ago and they have a program on birding with a guy named vernon locks or something like that . anyways he commented on how he goes out to the falmouth septic treatment plant "all the Time "because of the abundance of birds that feed there. theres probably few species on earth that are less susceptible or disturbed by "pressure waves " and "noise" than birds. but they seem not to mind. of course if they could sue for financial gain then it might be a different story

the idea is to free up natural gas resources for transportation use. its a supply and demand thing. not only that but co2 and global warming IS a issue... Also there is a direct correlation between high priced oil and the complete shut down of any meaningful economic growth with out economic growth we can't pay the interest on all our loans... if you don't think our war efforts are not primarily motivated by oil and that every effort we make towards renewables decreases our dependence on oil then your an idiot
