"A Place at the Table" - Free Film Screening and Community Discussion about Hunger

"A Place at the Table doesn't offer any answers. Instead, it asks you to help find them by getting involved, which is the mark of an excellent documentary." - Toronto Film Scene

Everyone is invited to this free, public screening of "A Place at the Table, a film that presents three portraits of Americans struggling with food insecurity and asks us to take up the charge of putting the fight against hunger at the forefront of politics and community activism. Following the film, we will hold a community discussion about addressing hunger on the Upper Cape, joined by Brenda Swain, Director, and others from the Falmouth Service Center.

This film follows another in Falmouth's free, community dinners, Falmouth Eats Together, which takes place at the same location from 4-6pm. Come to one or both, and come away with fresh perspectives on food insecurity and how we might ensure that none go hungry in our country and community.

This program is funded by a grant from the Woods Hole Foundation.
