Operation Christmas Child Packing Event

Operation Christmas Child, run by the
relief organization Samaritan’s Purse, is the largest Christmas
outreach program for children in the entire world. Since 1993,
individuals, businesses, schools and churches across America and
around the world have cooperated to collect, fill and transport more
than 100 million gift-filled shoe boxes to needy children in the US
and around the world.

You are invited to join us on November
17th at 2 PM for our Packing Event in which everyone gets a turn to
pack a shoe box with love for a child to receive as a gift. Each box
is filled with items the children need, such as soap and toothpaste,
as well as toys and the message of God’s love and His greatest
gift, His Son Jesus Christ in the child’s own language. These
boxes will be delivered to children in third world countries
suffering from poverty, war, disease, and natural disasters – many
of whom have never received a gift before. This is an opportunity
for the residents to Falmouth to reach out and share the love of God
with children around the world.
