Most of the members of the Board of Health last night, hid behind their conspired excuse of “no compelling evidence.” All the while aware of the guidance from the state’s Executive Office of Health and Human Services. Evidence, promoted by the Board’s principle state resource for health information, stipulate that less than 10 hours of sleep per day for children is unhealthy.
The only evidence requiring the Board’s consideration last night, should have answered WHETHER 8 hours met BASIC (SLEEP) NEEDS for all members of our community. Unequivocally, the Board diluted it’s consideration with political minutia. In doing so, they sold the health and aspirations of defenseless children for “blood money”.
Goldstone, Heufelter, Waterbury and Rafferty - the four that tore Falmouth further apart. They've clearly abandon protecting our young and innocent for the work of fortifying Falmouth's defensive wall around the wind.
