Armed Bank Robber Sought by Falmouth Police

A masked gunman robbed the Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod on North Falmouth Highway Monday morning, according to Falmouth police who are looking for the public's aid in identifying the suspect.

The following announcement was issued by Falmouth police shortly before 4 p.m. Monday:

At approximately 10:30 AM today a suspect robbed the Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod located at 660 North Falmouth Highway. 

The suspect was masked and carrying a handgun.

The suspect was believed to be a white male, and was approximately 6’2” to 6’4” tall. 

He fled the area on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

None of the bank employees were injured during this incident. The incident is under investigation at the time of this release. No digital images or surveillance footage is available at this time.
