Bus Crash Update: 9 Kids Taken to Falmouth Hospital, Police Seek Box Truck Driver
In the wake of Tuesday's frightening school bus collision, Falmouth police are asking anyone with information about a white box truck and its driver to contact investigators at (508) 457-2527.
Nine young children were taken to Falmouth Hospital after Tuesday morning's school bus crash on Thomas Landers Road, but there have been no reports of serious injuries, according to Cape Cod Today.
The bus ran off the road and into a utility pole after it was forced to avoid a white box truck that drove into its path at about 9 a.m., the school bus driver told police.
The toppled utility pole and its spilled wires blocked Thomas Landers Road in both directions, Cape Cod Today reports.
The children were on their way to Mullen-Hall School, a Falmouth public school serving kindergarten through fourth grade.
Police are asking anyone with information about the white box truck and its driver to contact investigators at (508) 457-2527.
