Missing Man with Alzheimer's Found Sitting in Car, Falmouth Police Say

Richard McLeod, missing since about 1:15 a.m. Sunday, was discovered later in the morning by a Davisville Road resident and taken to Falmouth Hospital for treatment, Falmouth police said shortly before noon.

An 85-year-old Falmouth man with Alzheimer's disease was located Sunday morning several hours after he was reported missing, Falmouth police said shortly before noon.

Richard McLeod was found by a Davisville Road resident who discovered him sitting in a vehicle parked in the home's driveway, said Lieut. Brian Reid.

McLeod was taken to the Falmouth Hospital by Falmouth Fire & Rescue Department for treatment, Reid said.
