Falmouth Breakfast Honors Civil Rights Leader's Memory

The annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Breakfast takes place Monday with songs, stories and recitations.

Morse Pond School students, directed by music teacher Jeanine Kelly and fifth-grade teacher Lynne Buscher, will present songs and recitations at Monday's Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Breakfast, according to an announcement on the Town of Falmouth website.

Also taking part in the two-hour program: 

  • Keith C. Holmes, historian and author of "Black Investors: Crafting Over 200 Years of Success"
  • Rabbi Elias Lieberman, who will be performing a song, "The Autograph”, describing his meeting, at the age of ten, with Dr. King

The breakfast takes place at Morse Pond School, 323 Jones Rd, Falmouth Monday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Tickets: Adults, $15; students, $10; at the door.
