Kitchen Fire Kills Cat in Falmouth

Thursday afternoon's fire on Althea Road left the home uninhabitable and took the life of the family cat, according to the Cape Cod Times.

A house cat was fatally injured in a kitchen fire at a house on Althea Road in Falmouth Friday afternoon when no residents were at home, reports the Cape Cod Times.

Heat and smoke from the fire damaged the house so heavily it was uninhabitable, Fire Capt. Greg Clements told the newspaper.
